The PKM is one of the most highly ranked LMGs in Call of Duty Warzone. Below we cover one of the best loadouts for your PKM, one that will help you dominate enemy players. This loadout focuses on accuracy and damage range the most. The LMGs in Warzone do not have a lot of recoil by default anyway, and so our primary focus goes on the accuracy and damage range of this weapon. The Time to Kill (TTK) with the PKM is also very fast, ranked second after the MG34, which is the fastest killing LMG out of all the LMGs. Muzzle
You should select the Monolithic Suppressor as your Muzzle, not only for the sound suppression it offers but also that extra damage range. Staying hidden is one of the significant factors to winning in Warzone.
The Monolithic Suppressor for the PKM unlocks at level 7.
Barrel
Our recommended Barrel is the longest available Barrel, which is the 26.9" Extended Barrel. This Barrel gives you huge bonuses such as increased damage range, bullet velocity, and better recoil control.
Due to the heavy weight of this Barrel, your overall movement speed does go down, but it’s not that noticeable. The 26.9" Extended Barrel unlocks at level 30.
Optic
You should go with the VLK 3.0x Optic as your Optic attachment. It not only gives you better magnification to take out enemy players at a fair distance, but also has a hidden bonus that gives you a slight reduction in recoil. This is one of the reasons why it turns your weapon into an absolute laser beam. Another great option is to go with any one of the Holo sights with a Blue Dot Sight reticle. This achieves the same end effect, along with an added advantage of better ADS speed as compared to the VLK 3.0x Optic.
The VLK 3.0x Optic unlocks at level 11, and the first Holo sight (Corp Combat Holo Sight) unlocks at level 6. Note that you will need to do the reticle challenges to unlock the Blue Dot Sight. Check your respective weapon’s reticle challenges as they are different for each gun.
Underbarrel
You must select the Snatch Grip as your Underbarrel attachment. This is one of the best Underbarrel attachments available for the PKM, if not the best. It gives you better recoil control as well as faster ADS Speed, with just a slight penalization of overall movement speed.
It is also worth noting that LMGs, by default, have little recoil, and we get better recoil control not only from the Snatch Grip but also from the extended Barrel attachment and the VLK 3.0x Optic attachment. The Snatch Grip Underbarrel attachment unlocks at level 45.
Rear Grip
What you choose as your Rear Grip attachment is entirely up to you, but our recommendation is the Rubberized Grip Tape attachment. This attachment provides even further recoil control that results in PKM having virtually no recoil at all.
