That long wait will finally be over in a month as Naughty Dog and Sony have announced the release date for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. The game bundle features two of the most well-received games in the franchise Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the fourth installment of the Uncharted series and the final entry that includes master thief Nathan Drake as the protagonist. The game received much critical acclaim and is one of the highest-rated games on Metacritic. The game was lauded by critics for its " remarkable achievement in blockbuster storytelling and graphical beauty." Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is the last entry in the series and the first time that Nathan Drake is not featured as the main character. The protagonist for Lost Legacy is Chloe Frazer, a character that has appeared in several Uncharted games and was a former love interest of Drake. The game is included in the list of the best games for 2017.
PC version enhancements
The remastered version for both games will have PC-specific enhancements such as reimagined UI, scale sliders, GPU and VRAM detection, Variable Load Speed, and more. The PC version has graphical adjustment features that include adjustable Texture and Model quality, Anisotropic Filtering, Shadows, Reflections, and Ambient Occlusion. Legacy of Thieves can also take advantage of the PC hardware with the inclusion of ultra-wide monitor support, true 4K resolution, and AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2, which supercharges framerates without sacrificing detail. There will be adjustments to the controls of the game but it will support a wide range of gamepads along with the keyboard and mouse. To experience haptic feedback and dynamic triggers, players must use a PS5 DualSense controller through a wired connection. It also has RGB support for Razer Chroma peripherals and Chroma Link compatible devices along with Logitech and Corsair. As far as compatibility goes, Naughty Dog released a chart for the suggested PC specs. You can pre-order Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection from the Epic Games Store and Steam before it comes out on October 19. With the PC release date for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection now confirmed, fans can look forward to other announcements before the current fiscal year ends. Confirmed PC ports without release dates are The Last of Us Part 1 and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. But, there’s enough evidence proving that PC ports of Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, are all coming as well.
