In the English version of the Xbox Wire blog post, the tech giant revealed that the games showcase would deliver new details on its upcoming titles. According to the post, The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall will be part of the games featured during the event. Starfield, on the other hand, will have a stand-alone showcase to allow Bethesda Game Studios to do a deep dive into the upcoming ARPG. The German version of the Xbox Wire blog claims that the release date for the highly anticipated titles will be confirmed during the event. “Developer_Direct will focus on amazing features, extensive gameplay showcases and first-time shared release dates for great Xbox titles coming out over the next few months – including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall,” the post said. This is welcome news for gamers who have been asking for a release date for Redfall and Forza Motorsport. The number of new titles will surely make players on the Xbox console excited as Microsoft has only released a few first-party titles since the release of the Xbox Series X/S. Redfall, in particular, has experienced several delays throughout its development cycle. The game was originally intended to come out last year before Bethesda pushed back its release date to the first half of this year. “The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them,” Bethesda said of the delay. “We can’t wait to share our first deep dive into the gameplay for both Redfall and Starfield soon.” There have been several rumors regarding the release date for Redfall. We previously reported that the release date for the horror shooter may have leaked online. According to an insider, the game is targeting a release in the first week of May after being delayed internally by six weeks. Microsoft may have intentionally delayed the release of Redfall to avoid clashing with the launch of other major titles from rival companies. Redfall and Forza Motorsport are launching exclusively on PC and Xbox Series X/S and will be available via the Xbox Game Pass on day one. Minecraft Legends is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
